Specific requirements:

AIRFREIGHT:

The documents needed for customs clearance of airfreight shipments at Sofia Airport Customs are:

Export:
- MAWB/HAWB;
- Commercial invoice – 5 originals, signed and stamped;
- Packing list – 5 originals, signed and stamped;
- In case the shipper is the manufacturer – Declaration of origin from manufacturer – 1 original signed & stamped;
- In case the articles were bought in EU or non-EU countries – Commercial invoice proving the purchase of the goods – 1 copy;
- Declaration of value – in case the value of the goods is over 5000 BGN – 1 original, signed and stamped;

Import:
- MAWB/HAWB;
- Original commercial invoice with fresh sign and stamp and correct terms of delivery indicated on it;
- Original packing list;
- Any special certificates if needed;

OCEAN FREIGHT:

The documents needed for customs clearance of ocean freight shipments at Varna and Bourgas Customs are:

Export:
- MBL/HBL;
- Commercial invoice – 5 originals, signed and stamped;
- Packing list – 5 originals, signed and stamped;
- In case the shipper is the manufacturer – Declaration of origin from manufacturer – 1 original signed & stamped;
- In case the articles were bought in EU or non-EU countries – Commercial invoice proving the purchase of the goods – 1 copy;
